Astrophotography is no longer only within the realm of amatuers with expensive equipment. Using my home made 9" Dobsonian with a homemade clamp for my Fujifilm Finepix 2600 digital camera and the afocal technique, I took this image of the first querter moon on 31st August 2006. The enlarged section was simply imaged using the 3X optical zoom of the camera.
