I took this tripod-mounted shot of Comet Hale-Bopp O1 in April of 1997 from Little Buffalo State Park in Perry County, Pennsylvania. The equipment used was a Pentax K1000 SLR camera and a Pentax 50mm lens. The exposure was approximately 30 seconds and the film employed was Kodak Royal Gold 1000.
