Aldebaran and the Moon Just Prior to Occultation, 1999/1/27

This eyepiece projection shot was taken on 1999/1/27, five minutes before the occultation of the first magnitude star Aldebaran (which appears to the lower right of the Moon), using a 5" f/5 achromatic refractor and a Pentax K1000 camera. It was processed to monochrome using Photoshop.
