This is my first success at prime focus astrophotography. It was taken from the balcony of my unit in Miranda, in Sydney's southern suburbs, on Saturday 23 June. It was shot using a Canon 400D attached to my Celestron 102 SLT refractor. ISO setting was 200 and the shutter was set 1/125. The image was cropped using Picasa version 2.
