The Crescent Nebula. This is a single 40 minute exposure on Kodak E200 slide film. The photograph was shot at prime focus with a stock Meade LXD75 8" f/4 Schmidt Newtonian. Guiding was done by hand with an Orion 910mm focal length guidescope. This deep image shows stars below magnitude 18! http://www.PetesAstrophotography.com
