Meade ETX60 AT

Late 2009 I was given a ETX-60. It was rather dirty and needed repairs.

I have really yet to use this for the first time since this is my first telescope. From what I can tell without any manuels  etc this may be a bit trickey since I can not seem to get the telescope & my lapyop to talk to each other yet. If my thinking is right I should be able to control the telescope via the laptop.

IF anyone reads this before I get to use this I sure could use a helping hand and advise.
