iOptron SmartStar N-114

I recived this scope for Christmas this year (2009). The assymbely was easy and quick. It comes with GPS already built into it, and it quickly found my Lon. and Lat. setting the time and date for me. The aligment procedure was a bit combersum and I had to call the tech help line to get it set right. The red dot alignment scope leaves a lot to be desired as it is hard to get set to the scope. The motor drive worked well except for the backlash when changing direction. There is a backlash adjustment that I have not tried yet. The goto function brought the object into the approxament area. I had to fine tune it to get it centered. Overall I would say that for the price its a good buy.
