I was very pleased to get this picture of Venus, taken with eyepiece projection for about 3-4 seconds. You can see that it appears as a crescent like the moon. On this magnification, I found that the vibrations of the mirror opening and closing ruined the shot- so I took this picture by holding a piece of black card in front of the lens, opening the mirror and moving the card away for a second or two, replacing the card, then closing the mirror. The exposure length isn't accurate, but it seems to work well.
