I am very pleased with this picture. It was taken by fixing my camera with a 28mm lens to the top of a polar aligned equatorially-mounted telescope, and manually guiding it for about 10 minutes. You can see very good detail in the picture, with stars down to at least 7th magnitude being visible. It has been edited slightly to get rid of the slight orange hue due to light pollution.
